I apologize but still don't speak and write Slovak. I'm Saro and I live in Bratislava since last September. I'm coming from Catania, for 46 years I lived there.
The last w/e of may I'll bring here my motorbike, a BMW R1150GS ADV with over 100,000 Km and I'll have the pleasure to meet you riding on our bikes, I hopefully soon.

In my case it was not from other country, but only from one side of Slovakia to another. But I understand the principle

Landal it's true! Me and my woman we've been away almost 2000 km, but when I decide to do something ... are not the kilometers that stop me

But... if you are already familiar with Borovička you are on the best way how to undestand the half of the Slovak nation. The other one is drinking beer.

welcome to Slovakia, and this forum! As the others outlined that thing with borovička, I would add that drinking it you also half understand nature of people of Slovakia - you basically just turn into an asshole ........no, just joking But definitely be careful, because only those born into merciless hands of wilderness and bred on raw meat and goat milk can challenge borovička. If you're a mere mortal just like me, you're bound to end up shitfaced as hell

you know, Sicily is not such a large territory. It is really very interesting, beaches, rocky shores, Etna, the forests of the Nebrodi and Madonie, the gardens of oranges and lemons and many endless hills with olives and wheat, but, nevertheless, it remains a small territory. Slovakia is much larger territory, almost double of Sicily.
In late May I'll bring my bike here and I hope to do many kilometers also with you.
